Epoxy Resin for NSF 61 Underwater Cure -
Filament winding, hand lay-up laminating, underwater cure (with appropriate Rhino Hardeners), NSF 61 potable water applications such as CIPP, and structural repair of concrete used for water conveyance. Proprietary epoxy resin blend, 100% solids. DOT not-regulated.

Mixing
Use and store between 60° - 90°F (product and ambient temperatures). Prepare surfaces properly prior to application. Compatible with all Rhino Epoxy Hardeners. Mix resin and hardener for 3 - 5 minutes being certain to scrape mixing container bottom and sides. Mix no more material than can be applied before pot life expiration.
Curing
Rhino 1409-R2 cures overnight at typical ambient temperatures (60°- 90°F), and when submerged (when used with appropriate Rhino Hardeners). See hardener technical data sheets for specific cure schedules and properties.
